Why We Created

Circle blacl yello white-02.png

Why we created the SafeTCase - having operated on DoD aviation facilities for the past 20 years, we observed that the

method of supplying shore power to crafts requiring specific electrical current (such as 400hz) was outdated, not in compliance with current UFC and electrical safety standards, and unnecessarily unsafe. We have also been called to fix broken electrical cabinets

when cords have torn the cabinet away from the wall and have seen, first hand, the impact this has on the operational environment that is so critical to our clients and Country’s mission of remaining ever-ready.

 CURRENT PROCESS/ PROBLEM

  • Exposes users to unnecessary risk of injury or death by arc flash electrocution

  • Does not comply with UFC, and NEC, and OSHA safety codes

  • Requires burdensome personal protection equipment (PPE) for safe operation including a certified Arc Flash Suit

  • Cord Enclosure creates environmental hazard when cords are torn from cabinet

  • Provides no visual feedback to users for available power, or power delivery status

  • Cabinet access remains unprotected to in untrained or unauthorized access

  • Replacement parts are not readily available OTS (Off the Shelf Items)
